Gary Risley was elected by the citizens of San Juan County to serve as Probate Judge. He was born in 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene Texas, where in 1980 he earned a Bachelors degree and graduated cum laude. He then went on to attend Baylor Law School. Gary is married and has three children. He is now an attorney in private practice. Gary has been a resident of San Juan County since 1987.
